If you ever were thinking to go for gym-classes and look for better physique and in-shape personality – you need to get inspired by these two extraordinary women – 77 year old Edith Wilma Connor and 93-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch. These two have been on the forefront of keeping up in shape by regular exercise and yoga.
World’s Oldest Female Bodybuilder – Edith Wilma Connor is a Guinness World Record holder and is tiptop with respect to her physique. She does gym-exercise three times a week and currently has children, grand-children and great-grandchildren who aspire to be as healthier as their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. “She truly has been a source to look upto when we want to be inspired” said a family member of the Oldest Female Bodybuilder.
On the other hand, Tao Porchon-Lynch is also another inspirational character who is 93-years old and is currently working as Yoga teacher and is also a Guinness World Record holder for being World’s Oldest Yoga Teacher. Porchon-Lynch was first a dancer and even won contest for “Best Legs in Europe” in Paris – then she travelled to London, USA and Hollywood to work as a dancer, starlet and script writer. She started Yoga at the age of 73 and since then she’s been doing and teaching Yoga. She currently has 400 proud students.
“I believe that we can always reach just a little bit further,” World’s Oldest Yoga Teacher said in a Guinness press release. “I’m inspired to bring yoga into others’ lives along with helping people unearth new talents.”
